Levottomat 3 [2003] Dvd Rip Xvid Levottomat is a 2003 Finnish comedy-drama film directed by Ere Kokkonen. The film was selected as the Finnish entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 77th Academy Awards, but did not make the final shortlist. It was nominated for Best Motion Picture of the Year in Finland. The story is set in a Swedish prison where all inmates used to be sentenced to two weeks hard labour (taihojärvi) which has since been abolished and replaced with less severe "service": fishing or babysitting for local families, cleaning toilets etc... All losers from other prisons are transferred there and given this "service". The inmates are made to play with children in the nearby area, but they are still sent to do hard labour with an old-timer, waiting for their ex-wives to visit every Tuesday.The Region 1 version of the film (Xvid) was released on 26 February 2004. It has since been discontinued and is out of print. The Region 2 version of the film (Xvid) was released on 9 May 2004 in Finland and Estonia. A subtitled VHS tape was also released in 2004 in Belgium by Cinepost which also gave an alternative Dutch title "Poppenspelers" based on the Finnish title "Levottomat". The Region 2 version of the film (Xvid) was released on 30 May 2004 in UK by Lusomundo. The Region 2 version of the film (Xvid) was released on 28 June 2004 in Netherlands by Cinepost. The Region 1 version of the film (Xvid) was released on 8 July 2004.
